The Sally Saga - Part 2: The Second Forest Temple

The team was following Sally, who's a darkish red-orange colored Phoenix bird now, as she flew into the big green forest near the city. Jinmay asked the team where the bird was going. Chiro said that he wasn't sure, but it was somewhere in the forest. All were in the meeting room in the Super Robot, watching Sally flying and the robot following her. Chiro then told Gibson that the last time Sally became an energy ball and went into an eagle, she went into a Forest temple and after so many events, she came back. But the temple was destroyed because of a monster belonging to the temple long ago and asked if there was another temple in the Forest or not. Gibson scanned the forest and found another Forest temple nearby. Gibson told Chiro that unexpectedly, there was a second temple, which was the successor of the first temple and has a different history and that's where she was heading to. 

So, they followed the bird and after sometime, they landed five meters away from the temple and as Sally flew into the temple, the team followed her so that they wouldn't lose her. They started running as fast as they could to keep up with Sally. She was very fast. The place looked scary and like the insde of a pyramid, but not exactly. There were fire lamps stuck on the both sides of the wall. The temple was swamp green color, inside and outside. The temple was made of swamp green color rock bricks. As they kept going, she became too fast to keep up and so the team used their rockets to fly with her. But Sally shrieked in anger and Chiro understood her and told everyone to not fly and only run behind her. Then after a while, she was out of sight. Chiro freaked out, fearing of where she went. 

They were lost at a three-divided path and nobody knew which path she went. Then, Antauri heard her two shriek, coming from the right-most path and told the team. Then they went into the path and soon caught up with Sally. Then, there was a rock door which had a message above it. It read that they must solve six puzzles to go and get their eternal wish granted. Soon, the rock door opened and they went in. As the door closed, it was so dark inside. There was no light and nobody could see. Then, when everyone were wondering what to do about the lights, Sally made a big shriek which made supersonic waves like Monkey Mindscream, and all the fire lights were lit and there was light in the path now. They kept going and soon another door opened. There, they saw a room, where there was a game board that had lots of symbols on it. 

Everyone looked at it and Gibson said that this game was a high-speed symbol matching game. Then, Sally saw the instructions on the wall, but it was covered with dust and dirt. She wiped it off with the feathers of her right wing, while facing the team and gave a shriek. Everyone looked at the instructions. Antauri read that this was a high-speed matching game and only the smartest person shall play this game. Then Nova read that the player must not lose his/her focus and concentration and must memorize the position of the symbols on the board in 20secs and must match the pairs in 15 secs. So, Chiro told Gibson to play the game. Gibson wasn't so sure, but everyone encouraged him, including Sally, by giving a shriek, and so Gibson accepted to play the game.

He went to the board and pressed the rock button that was the size of a adult human's palm, and was on the bottom right corner of the board, and the game started. The countdown began and he memorized the place of the symbols and then the symbols flipped over, showing only blank slots. Then, within 15 secs, Gibson matched the symbols in time and they first puzzle was cleared. Then a sign board rose form the ground and Nova read from it that it congratulated them in solving the first puzzle and that they could proceed the to second one now. So, the next door opened and and they exited the matching room. The path had the fore lamps lighted up and everyone could see. Sally was feeling tired and so, she sat on Chiro's arm when he had it stretched out for a sec while walking. He was in the front. He didn't mind Sally, because she was bird right now, but only temporarily.

Then soon, they reached the door to the second puzzle and entered in. But it wasn't a puzzle at all. It was a booby trap area! Chiro hated booby trap areas, unless they were the ones optimized for training. Sally then went to the instructions on the wall and wiped it with her right wing's feathers and Otto read that they should escape through this place without getting themselves killed. That really got onto Chiro's nerves, and the others too. But they had to pass this place. Sally, voluntarily went to the start and waited for the others to come. Chiro said that it seemed that Sally was ready for the challenge and they had to be too. So, they joined Sally and prepared for the area. Then they started going through the booby traps. Sally flew through the place and escaped to the end of its first part and waited for the others to finish the first part. After 15 minutes, the team was about to reach Sally. Then suddenly, a rock man, looking similar to The Thing, rose from the ground and attacked Sally!

She tried to use her shriek to attack, but it didn't have enough power. She fell onto the ground and was lying on the wall, as the creature approached her to crush her. But just in time, Chiro reached and attacked the creature on its leg by Thunder Punch and destroyed its right leg, but it later regenerated. Chiro asked if she was ok and she nodded her head. The others came too and fought the rock monster. Then Chiro told Jinmay to protect Sally at all costs, while he and the others fought the monster, and then left her. She did so and and soon they wiped out the monster. Then, Sally flew into the second part of the booby trap area, and the others followed her too. While getting through, Chiro told himself that they would bring their friend (Sally) back to normal, as soon as possible, no matter what and soon they all passed through the second part, which even had saws, axes, spikes, crushers, etc., and the second puzzle was over.

Another sign board rose from the ground and Nova read that it congratulate them again for solving the second puzzle, of for getting thorough the second level, and that now they could proceed to the third puzzle. The next door opened and they went in. While they moving in the path, Sally sat on Jinmay's right arm again to take some rest and she didn't mind it. Suddenly, Sally shrieked in fear. Chiro asked what was the matter, but she shrieked again and again, as she couldn't talk. Then all of a sudden, to all of their surprise, a big rock wolf arose from the ground and howled towards the sky! It was so loud that it created a medium earthquake in the temple. They started fighting the creature but nothing was hurting it. Even when Jinmay attacked it with her laser eyes, the wolf whipped her away with its tail and so she got hurt, not the wolf, unfortunately.

But when everyone were down, Sally had an idea! She tried her Super Shriek this time, with the true embracement of the power primate and finally succeeded! The wolf couldn't stand the supersonic waves, and it collapsed and disappeared. The team had closed their ears while she was shrieking, as it was too loud for then to hear and had a very high pitch. Then, she sat on Chiro's right arm and they all walked their way to the next door, to the third puzzle. After they entered, there was a rock path, which was the bridge to the exit of this level and it was above an acid swamp pit. There were no instructions for this level. Gibson said that it was like the pit of doom for them all. But Chiro said that it didn't matter, and they had to get last and they shouldn't give up. So, with Sally still sitting on his right arm, Chiro led the team as they started walking on the path.

They walked slowly on the path, so that they wouldn't lose balance and fall down. Jinmay was scared as she looked at the acid swamp pit below them, as it looked so acidic, it would destroy them all, and tried not to look down after that. After they covered a certain distance, something in the swamp pit was watching the team from below. Then Gibson asked if anybody felt that they were being watched. Then suddenly, a humongous white octopus jumped from the pit and surprised the team! It broke the path and as they team ran for their lives, the path collapsed behind them. They even ran in a tunnel, while the octopus followed them from below and even bumped on the roof, where the tunnel was an created vibrations that made the team to jump up and down like kangaroos and frogs! 

Then suddenly, the octopus went ahead of them and smashed the path before them and appeared in front of them. Then, Nova and the others attacked and the others started flying with their rocket boots and packs. Soon, they were ahead of the monster and reached the exit and the door closed behind them, leaving the monster in that place itself. It couldn't reach them after all. Another sign board arose from the ground in the hallway and Nova read that it congratulated them again for surviving the big octopus and for escaping that level. They could proceed to puzzle four now. Then Chiro told everyone not to read those congratulations sign boards ever again as they were all tired of hearing the same message.

While they were going, Sally was too tired to fly and fell into Jinmay's arms. Jinmay said that poor Sally was so tired after all of these levels and might be hungry, as Sally's stomach grumbled. Then the other's stomachs grumbled too. All of them, were hungry. Then luckily, Gibson said that he had brought some sandwiches having vegetables in it. Chiro asked why he had brought sandwiches and Gibson replied that being in a place of nature, natural food would be very good for us and these sandwiches were one of Sally's favourites. Sally, then flew to him and in front of him, she bowed down at him, as she was thanking him. 

Gibson said there was no need to thank and everyone ate the sandwiches, including Sally, using only her beak, while Jinmay and Chiro took of their gloves and ate with bare hands after they and the robot monkeys cleaned their hands with tissue papers. After eating, Jinmay and Chiro put on their gloves again and the team continued their journey. Suddenly, the roof above them started to crumble and rocks were falling to the ground, nearing hitting the team's heads! All were covering their heads and Jinmay covered up Sally with her hands from getting hit by the rocks and they ran for their lives! What will happen next? We'll see in the next episode!
